रामेश्वरम एक छोटा समाज था।

There was discrimination based on caste and religion.

वहाँ जाति और धर्म के आधार पर भेदभाव होता था।

Social discrimination was very strict.

सामाजिक भेदभाव बहुत सख्त था।

🔹 3. Teacher Sivasubramania Iyer

He was my science teacher.

वे मेरे विज्ञान के शिक्षक थे।

He was a Brahmin.

वे ब्राह्मण थे।

His wife was very traditional.

उनकी पत्नी बहुत परंपरावादी थीं।

Still, he had a different thinking.

फिर भी वे अलग सोच रखते थे।

He was against social discrimination.

वे समाज की गलत बातों (भेदभाव) के खिलाफ थे।

He wanted people from different backgrounds to live together.

वे चाहते थे कि अलग-अलग पृष्ठभूमि के लोग मिल-जुलकर रहें।

He spent a lot of time with me.

वे मेरे साथ काफी समय बिताते थे।

“Kalam, I want you to become equal to the educated people of big cities.”

“कलाम, मैं चाहता हूँ कि तुम बड़े शहरों के पढ़े-लिखे लोगों के बराबर बनो।”
